Description:
JIB Accountant
Walker Elliott is working with a high growth organization that is looking for a mid to senior level JIB Accountant. In this position you will work in a fast-paced consulting type environment.
In this role you will be involved in Joint interest billing, AFE’s in addition you will assist with A/P and A/R on occasion.
Key responsibilities:
- JIB Transactions, AFE, Cost allocations, Owner netting, and owner billing
- Booking of Non-operated billing
- A/P, payment processing
- 1099 filings
- Extensive client interfacing
Requirements include:
- BS/BA in Accounting
- 5+ years Joint Interest Billing/JIB accounting
- Must have 3+ years of Oil and Gas
- Experience with O/G packages such as Quorum, Waterfield, Bolo, or others
- Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills—this role has extensive client interaction
- Must be able to work and thrive in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment
