Description:

Walker Elliott is working with a manufacturer located on the west side of Houston, that is looking for a Vice President of Sales. The sales are driven through channel partners. The right sales executive can implement KPIs, sales process and an accountability culture.

This role reports to the CEO.

Responsibilities:

• Forecast sales volumes and product needs
• Understand the competition, all products, pricing and competitive position
• Lead sales in building and achieving account plans
• Lead sales in account sales targets, growth and product placement
• Define and manage channel sales program
• Coach and inspire sales team
• Effectively utilize the CRM so that all sales activities are captured and reported on
• Participate in industry trade shows, local and regional trade conferences and associations

Requirements:

• Must have a BS or BA degree, advanced degree is preferred
• 10+ years of sales leadership experience (manufacturing preferred)
• 5+ years of CRM experience, including KPIs and dashboards)
• Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills
• Ability to travel regularly within the US.
