Job Detail: Database Developer, SQL Server

Description:

Walker Elliott is working on a exciting growth opportunity with a technology company in the HR services industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong database development background working with SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS and also possess the ability to do some programming with .NET, C#, JavaScript, etc. This is a direct hire opportunity located in Houston. Responsibilities:

• Develop. test and implement changes to complex enterprise applications
• Write and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures
• Improve performance issues and develop new features as required
• Investigate new techniques and technologies that can be used to improve products
• Work with the team to ensure changes and enhancements are properly documented

Requirements:

• Proven SQL Server development experience in an enterprise environment
• Experience T-SQL, SSRS, queries and stored procedures
• Experience troubleshooting performance issues
• Ability to design and develop complex systems
• Preferred experience includes: C#, .NET, JavaScript or similar
