Senior Business Technology Solutions Analyst-Operations (Oil & Gas)

Our client is seeking a Senior Solutions Analyst to join our IT Enterprise Applications team. This role will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency through innovative technology solutions within the oil and gas industry. You will collaborate with various departments to understand functional needs, design technical solutions, and manage project implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
• Analyze business processes and assess how technology can optimize them.
• Lead software projects from application upgrades to complex multi-disciplinary initiatives, working with stakeholders across all levels.
• Provide technical support and training on new systems and processes.
• Work closely with the Data Science team and business leaders to align project roadmaps with departmental objectives.
• Utilize your technical expertise to develop process improvements using tools like Alteryx, Sigma, Power BI, and Spotfire.

Key Software and Functional Areas:

• Enverus Suite (OpenInvoice, OpenOrder)
• Content Management Systems (M-Files, Documentum)
• G&G Software (Petra, Kingdom)
• Work Management (Jira Software, Smartsheet)
• Material Management and Equipment (OpenMaterials, Maximo, MARSWorx)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of oil and gas industry experience (Upstream E&P preferred).
• Strong proficiency with SQL and the ability to develop complex queries, data visualizations, and automated solutions.
• Experience leading enterprise software projects, including project management and change management.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a customer service-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6+ years of oil and gas industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (Alteryx, UiPath) and BI tools (Power BI, Spotfire).
• Experience with cloud migration assessments and working in Snowflake.
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and multiple project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).

Work Schedule:

• Hybrid work schedule with remote work available on Mondays and Fridays.
• Occasional travel or weekend work may be required to meet business priorities.
