Description:

Walker Elliott team is working with smaller, rapidly growing upstream oil and gas company is seeking a highly visible EHS Director to lead its Environmental and Safety programs. Reporting directly to the COO, this position is critical to the company's operational and environmental compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong environmental background, with expertise in Waste Emission Charge and strategies for reducing emissions. Additionally, the role involves tracking, reporting, and forecasting emissions data to ensure regulatory compliance and drive sustainability efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the company's environmental, health, and safety efforts.
• Track, report, and forecast emissions data in compliance with regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce emissions, with a focus on Waste Emission Charge.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment with environmental goals.

Requirements:

• Degreed
• 8+ years work history
• Strong environmental experience in upstream oil and gas.
• Expertise in emission reduction strategies and compliance.
• Familiarity with Waste Emission Charge regulations.
• Ability to track, report, and forecast emissions.
