Description:
Are you ready to combine your expertise in valuation analysis with a passion for driving insights that matter? We are seeking a Sr. Associate to join our team in Houston. Reporting directly to the Head of Global Portfolio Analytics, you'll collaborate closely with our Oil & Gas investment team to deliver high-impact results. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference by shaping how we evaluate and report on our portfolio's performance.
Location: Houston, TX (5 days in-office)
Travel: Minimal
Objective: Provide key stakeholders with timely, insightful valuations and reporting that guide strategic decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly investor reporting processes, delivering valuations, return calculations, benchmarking, and performance insights.
- Prepare and update investor presentations to support seamless reporting.
- Perform valuations of upstream O&G assets/reserves using DCF analysis and peer/multiple comparisons.
- Analyze portfolio-level risk exposure and develop hedging strategy insights.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3+ years in investment banking/private equity or in valuation/financial services.
- Expertise: Advanced financial modeling skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Education: Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, Petroleum Engineering, or related field (CFA/CAIA is a plus).
- Skills: Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and presentation software; investor reporting experience is a bonus.
