Full Stack Developer - Energy Research Company

Our client, a cutting-edge energy research company, is seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join their dynamic team. Specializing in producing critical data, research, and information, this organization thrives on innovation and fosters a collaborative environment designed for growth and responsibility. Their operations are fully cloud-based, leveraging the power of AWS.

This role is based in Houston, TX, and offers a hybrid work setup—four days in the office with one flex day for remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the existing Node.js-based website.

• Develop and implement new website features using Node.js.

• Upgrade the website with the latest technologies.

• Handle various data aggregation tasks to support research objectives.

• Collaborate closely with team members to deliver impactful solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in Node.js, Express, and MongoDB.

• Strong programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Experience working with NoSQL databases.

• Functional knowledge of PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with AI tools like Claude.AI or similar for coding and development tasks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with the AWS ecosystem.

• Proficiency in Python.

• Working knowledge of SQL databases, including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake.
