Job Detail: Geo SCADA Application Engineer

Description:

Our client is looking for a Geo SCADA Application Engineer candidate who will engage directly with customers to ascertain their project needs. Our client specializes in the remote collection, presentation, and control of measurement and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. Candidates should possess a solid grasp of information technology and thrive in an environment that fosters both teamwork and independent creativity.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to define requirements for their SCADA systems.

• Participate in all project phases, from assisting sales to documentation and support.

• Execute special projects and tasks related to in-house and third-party software.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Preferably hold a Bachelor's degree in Business or STEM.

• Expertise in HMIs including Geo SCADA, Cygnet, Wonderware is key.

• Proficient in programming and troubleshooting.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Comfortable with face-to-face interactions and public speaking.

• Knowledge of control systems is advantageous.

• Additional expertise in Visual Basic Scripting, Visual Basic for Applications, Windows Operating Systems (Server and Desktop), Microsoft SQL Server, CRM, ACM/AES

Candidate should be open to meeting with customers as needed.

This role is in Clear Lake and downtown Houston. There is some flexible work situation available.
