Senior Revenue Accountant
Walker Elliott oil and gas team is working well-established, self-funded upstream oil and gas operator with over 20 years of success seeking a Sr. Revenue Accountant to join their stable and growing team. This will be great opportunity for somebody who wants to take 'ownership and autonomy' with the entire revenue process and run it!
They are looking to hire full time onsite or a remote work option for the right candidate. This is an opportunity to work with a long-standing, financially strong company that values its employees. Those who relocate will receive full relocation support and enjoy reward vacations-including an all-expenses-paid trip to one of the company's ski resorts after two years of service.
Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile revenue transactions and payments (both operated and non operated).
- Maintain ownership records, revenue decks, and agreements.
- Prepare regulatory filings including ONRR and severance tax reports.
- Partner with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Support audits and identify process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of revenue accounting experience, ideally in upstream oil & gas.
- Knowledge of ONRR, severance tax, and Enertia software is a plus.
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
