Description:
Junior Business Development Analyst (remote)
Walker Elliott is recruiting for a detail-oriented and motivated Business Development Analyst (upstream oil and gas). This role will support technical and Reservoir teams by managing and organizing critical upstream oil and gas data for a successful public oil and gas company. This is full time and remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, verify, and input technical data into internal systems to support asset tracking, evaluations, and data management efforts.
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure data is accurate, consistent, and complete.
- Maintain and organize digital files in a clear, structured format for easy retrieval.
- Provide support to team members by responding to requests and assisting with data-related projects.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal processes for acquisitions and divestiture (A&D) evaluations and workflows.
- Assist reservoir team in the timely assessment of new acquisition, divestiture, and trade opportunities.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to help integrate newly acquired assets into corporate systems and databases.
Requirements:
- Degreed
- Familiarity or direct experience in upstream oil and gas space is required. MUST
- Familiarity with data management best practices and workflows.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of upstream oil and gas terminology is required
