Description:

Our client, a fast-paced MSP, is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer. In this position, you'll be responsible for building, supporting, and improving modern infrastructure for small and mid-sized clients across industries including finance, manufacturing, and professional services. You'll work closely with helpdesk, security, and engineering teams, contributing in an environment that values ownership, teamwork, and high-quality client service.

Responsibilities

• Designing, supporting, and optimizing Active Directory and on-prem infrastructure
• Managing Azure environments, including virtual machines, Entra ID (Azure AD), and networking components
• Administering Microsoft 365 and Office 365 tenants
• Developing and maintaining PowerShell automation to improve reliability and efficiency
• Supporting and enhancing multi-tenant Remote Desktop Services environments (preferred)
• Managing and troubleshooting FSLogix profiles
• Working with networking technologies such as firewalls, switches, VPNs, VLANs, and SD-WAN
• Handling escalations, infrastructure migrations, system upgrades, and project-based work
• Communicating directly with clients while balancing multiple priorities

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, RDS, and FSLogix
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills
• Solid networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs
• Prior experience in an MSP or similarly fast-paced service environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to communicate clearly with both clients and internal teams

Soft skills: technically confident, reliable, and how to solve complex systems and problems from start to finish.

This role is direct hire and hybrid, in office Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.
