Description:
Join Our Team as a Desktop Support Specialist and play a crucial role in maintaining seamless IT operations across diverse environments. In this vital position, you'll provide expert technical assistance to end users at all levels, ensuring optimal functionality of desktop systems and applications. Your efforts will directly support the productivity and efficiency of our organization through prompt issue resolution and proactive support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and install desktop application software efficiently across multiple devices.
- Provide technical support to users at all levels, from frontline staff to executive leadership.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software incidents remotely and in-person, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Manage printer services, including maintenance, toner replacement, and service call coordination.
- Assist with employee lifecycle IT processes such as onboarding, moves, and offboarding.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional IT experience in a corporate setting.
- Extensive knowledge of Windows 10/11, Android, iOS, and printer systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure while meeting SLAs.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work in office environments primarily, with some outside or warehouse conditions.
- Willingness to travel locally up to 10% of the time.
- Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs and managing physical demands of the job.
- Relevant IT certifications or education are considered a plus.
