Revenue Accountant - Remote | Full-Time

Our client, a growing upstream oil & gas company, is seeking a Revenue Accounting Analyst to join their Accounting and Finance team. Company is known for its disciplined acquisition strategy and strong financial performance, the company offers employees the opportunity to make an impact within a lean, entrepreneurial organization.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve revenue, ownership, and payment discrepancies.
• Analyze revenue trends and explain key variances.
• Support acquisition reviews and audit requests.
• Work closely with Accounting, Land, and Operations teams on revenue-related matters.
• Assist with internal controls, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
• Help ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Demonstrated experience supporting revenue accounting activities within an upstream oil & gas company.
• Familiarity with ownership interests, revenue distributions, settlements, and production-related accounting concepts.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to investigate discrepancies and identify root causes.
• Comfortable working with large volumes of data and multiple reporting systems.
• Experience utilizing industry software in oil and gas upstream space (Enertia, Bolo, Quorum, etc.).
• Working knowledge of unconventional assets in Texas.
